HIV/AIDS:The awareness,The impact,& The mobilisation in Nigeria
The awareness:Of a truth various machineries has been put in place by both the Government, the society and the international
community.
The impact:without missing words the impact has not been well felt owing to some factors which I will state here. They
are: government policy on this issue, role of international bodies and the nigeria citizen especially the so called Leaders.
The mobilisation:This is where I will lay much emphasy as the whole show is still 4 the rich and the people living
in the urban area.these are the set of people having acces to billboard, news & are closer to government .the seminars
are still 4 the leaders who can not bodly come out 4 a free HIV/AIDS test.
The people in the rural area were neglected in so much that less attention is paid to them.
The grant from both the government and international community were not fully and efficiently utilised by the so
called nigeria leaders/politician.
Some NGOs use this avenue to get money from the government and the international community only to satisfy their selfish
interest, some even use the avenue to promote their political ambition while the objectives were highly neglected
The international community also give grant to only the rich NGOs without any consideration for the rural rugged ever
ready one.
Reccommendation:
Take this campaign to the rural area
Allow the junior civil servant to attend seminars and workshop
Stop givivg People in government or the rich one any grant/support
Supervise all programme through sound media
